Orders & Shipping

Q: How long does shipping take?
A: I process orders within 1–2 business days. Once shipped, standard U.S. delivery usually takes 3–7 business days depending on where you live. You’ll get tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes! I do ship worldwide. Shipping times and rates depend on your country and are shown at checkout.

Q: Can I track my order?
A: Absolutely. You’ll receive an email with a tracking number once your package ships.


Products & Materials

Q: What are Lumela bags made of?
A: I design LUMELA pieces using 100% cotton canvas with durable linings. I source high-quality fabrics that feel timeless and functional, so your bag can be used every day.

Q: Are your bags washable?
A: Yes. I recommend spot cleaning with mild soap and water, then letting it air dry flat. Please don’t bleach. (You can also check out my [Care Instructions] page for more details.)

Q: Are all bags handmade?
A: My toiletry bags, tote bags, and wallets are thoughtfully designed by me and produced in small runs with trusted partners so the quality is consistent. Some of my smaller accessories like the coin purses and wristlet keychains are handmade by me personally.


Returns & Exchanges

Q: What is your return policy?
A: I accept returns within 14 days of delivery. Items need to be unused, in original packaging, and in re-sellable condition. Just email me at lumelabag@gmail.com for instructions. Please note that return shipping is paid by the buyer. Once I receive and check the item, I’ll issue your refund back to your original payment method.

Q: Can I exchange an item?
A: Yes, as long as you reach out within 14 days of delivery. Exchanges for another style or color are always welcome. Return shipping fees just need to be covered by the buyer.

Q: Do you offer wholesale pricing?
A: Yes! If you’re a boutique or retailer interested in carrying LUMELA, send me an email at lumelabag@gmail.com with “Wholesale Inquiry” in the subject line.

Q: Where did the name “Lumela” come from?
A: “Lumela” combines Luma (“light” in Latin) with Ela, my daughter’s name. It represents my goal of creating everyday pieces that bring a little light into your life.

A: Yes! I often join pop-up markets and events around New Jersey. You can see my full schedule on the Market Dates page.
